Brussels, 2 July 2026 – Daikin is officially launching its next-generation controller Madoka Plus for commercial applications. Following its debut at the Climatización y Refrigeración trade fair in Madrid last November, the Good Design Award-winning controller is now available across Europe, bringing intuitive touchscreen control and elegant design to commercial spaces such as hotels, offices and retail outlets. Madoka Plus also offers an ecosystem of intelligent sensors that detect temperature, humidity, CO₂ levels & motion, as well as sensors for doors and windows.
Effortless control, designed around users
Madoka Plus puts simplicity first, with an intuitive, touch-based user experience that makes daily operation effortless. Through simple navigation using taps and swipes, users benefit from fast access to key settings, real-time feedback and clear visual guidance through colours, icons and animations.
The wide, colour touchscreen and streamlined interface provide immediate clarity, allowing users to view temperature, mode and airflow settings at a glance. Multi-language support ensures accessibility across diverse environments, making Madoka Plus particularly suited to international commercial applications. The result is intuitive, faster and effortless daily climate control across hotels, offices, retail spaces and other commercial settings, making it easy for anyone to operate.
Award-winning design
Recognised with a Good Design Award 2025 for its premium aesthetics and user-centric design, Madoka Plus combines form and function in a compact 86×86 mm glass format available in timeless black or white to blend seamlessly into modern interiors.
Easy-to-activate energy saving functions
Beyond its looks, Madoka Plus has been built to save energy. Easy-to-activate energy-saving functions are complemented by an optional range of Madoka Plus intelligent and wireless sensors. It is an ecosystem of sensors enabling advanced monitoring and automated control. These sensors – including a Door & Window sensor, Motion sensor, Temperature & Humidity sensor and CO₂ sensor – communicate directly with the controller, providing real-time data on room conditions.
Using this data, users can create interlocking logic via the refreshed Madoka Assistant app. This enables automated and predefined actions such as:
- Adjusting temperature based on occupancy
- Switching off systems when windows are open
- Activating dry mode in high humidity
- Optimising ventilation based on CO₂ levels
Built with installers in mind
Developed based on extensive installer feedback, Madoka Plus speeds up service tasks through intuitive touchscreen navigation and fast commissioning. Built-in diagnostics, including last error history and operational parameters, make troubleshooting easier and reduce on-site time and callbacks.
Madoka Plus was designed and developed at Daikin Europe's new R&D facility in Ghent, Belgium. Backed by Daikin's proven HVAC expertise and reliability, Madoka Plus marks the next evolution in Daikin's control solutions for commercial applications and is available across Europe from July 2026.
