Brussels, 28 September 2026 – Daikin Europe N.V. launches a major upgrade to Daikin Cloud Service Residential (DCS-R) transforming it into a full Remote System Management solution for all of Daikin’s residential heating and air conditioning products. The new release adds live monitoring, advanced diagnostics, and remote optimisation. It is the most significant upgrade to Daikin's residential monitoring platform to date, expanding remote access to live system data, diagnostics, and configuration tools. The new capabilities help installers and service partners monitor more proactively and support more consistent operation throughout the year.
Remote System Management includes:
- Monitoring
- Diagnostics
- Optimisation
- Software Updates
Designed for the market, built with professionals
DCS-R was developed in response to clear market demand for more proactive system care and a complete HVAC management solution. With this latest release, the platform significantly expands its capabilities with live monitoring, deeper diagnostics and enhanced remote optimisation: installers and service partners can now access more comprehensive real-time system information remotely, allowing them to identify potential issues earlier and intervene before they develop into system issues.
The platform was shaped by extensive feedback from installers and service partners and is built on Daikin's connected HVAC platforms. It supports Daikin’s residential heating and air conditioning systems from a single environment, giving service professionals one unified place to manage mixed installations. By reducing the need to switch between tools, DCS-R helps them monitor, fine-tune, and support customer systems more efficiently – enabling faster responses, smoother maintenance, and an improved homeowner experience.
Complete system insight for installers
The new release gives installers access to live and historical telemetry in a single view, bringing sensor values, actuator behaviour, and operating states together for both Daikin Altherma 3 and Daikin Altherma 4.
Troubleshooting can be faster because installers can access live system data rather than relying solely on customer descriptions over the phone. On Daikin Altherma 4, the platform now displays active error codes in real time, giving service professionals an immediate, complete picture of what is happening and enabling quicker, more accurate support for end users.
Remote configuration reduces the need for on-site visits and supports higher installation throughput. Installer settings for the main zone, additional zones and general system configuration can be accessed and managed from a distance.
Key features:
- Energy and thermal telemetry: Real‑time insights into energy consumption and delivered thermal output across all operating modes.
- Installer settings: a comprehensive set of field settings, with additional advanced parameters available for Daikin Altherma 4.
- Domestic hot water control: Full DHW configuration including set points, legionella protection, and powerful mode.
- Smart balancing: Intelligent prioritisation between space heating and domestic hot water designed to balance comfort and energy performance.
- Timeline markers and instant downloads: Installers can add timeline markers and instantly download annotated graphs in PNG or CSV, supporting quicker and more informed diagnostics.
- Remote software update: Unit software can be updated remotely via DCS‑R, allowing installers to deploy the latest features and fixes. For example, WLAN firmware updates for Daikin Altherma and RA units, and remote MMI updates for Daikin Altherma.
Supporting year-round comfort and system performance
The DCS-R upgrade is designed to support consistent indoor comfort and efficient operation throughout the year. Access to live system data and active error codes helps installers identify issues early and resolve many of them remotely before they develop into faults. This can reduce the need for service visits and contribute to more consistent system performance over time. Through Daikin Cloud, unit software can also be updated remotely, giving users access to software updates and new functionalities as they become available.
With this upgrade, DCS-R marks the next evolution in Daikin's connected service solutions for residential applications. It is available across Europe from September 2026 onwards.
How installers can access DCS-R
Onecta account: The unit must be connected to the user’s Onecta account so cloud communication is active and Remote Support can function.
Active DCS‑R Remote Support: Remote Support is the baseline permission that enables live data access for the installer. This activation happens when the user gives consent through Onecta, which is why Step 1 is essential.
Installer must register or log in to Stand By Me (SBM): SBM is required because subscriptions, e‑packages, and unit selection are managed here.
Choose the e‑package that best fits the service needs: The installer selects the appropriate DCS‑R package based on their needs for Daikin Altherma & for Daikin Residential Air Conditioning.
Select the unit for which Remote Monitoring needs to be enabled: the installer chooses the specific registered unit inside SBM.
