Daikin anticipates a rapid expansion of the heat pump market towards 2030, meaning a substantial increase in the demand for proficient installers. Air conditioning and traditional heating systems installers are seeing the value in having the skills to confidently install the new generation of heat pumps, to answer clients’ questions and feel secure that they have provided the best possible service. Seasoned installers too can benefit through the most up-to-date installation know-how and greater trust from their clients. In response to the predicted growing demand for heat pumps and the requirement for the highest quality and safety installation standards, we have introduced Daikin Stand By Me - Certified Partner training programme, dedicated to all installers - with, or without experience. What is the Stand by Me – Certified Partner programme?
Our Stand by Me – Certified Partner programme is pan-European and open to any installer of residential heating and cooling applications. This community expands on our existing network of installers. With the programme, we want to support installers by offering extensive training on how to operate Daikin Altherma heat pumps from delivery through installation to maintenance.
So how does it work?
Once you join, we offer two different training programmes depending on heat pump types and the refrigerant used. The first programme applies to units running on R-32 refrigerant, the second one applies to units running on R-290. As an installer, you receive high-quality, hands-on training, both online and in person, on how to work with these various Daikin Altherma units. The training sessions will be organised locally and in your native language. Once you have completed the Stand By Me – Certified Partner training programme and passed the tests, you become a Daikin certified installer and a trusted partner of Daikin.

Approximately 1000 installers have already joined the Daikin Stand by Me - Certified Partner community. Joining the community is done through training sessions, including practical hands-on tests. Training focuses on skills required to install our heat pumps in a safe and professional way, with the utmost car

How to join
While the network is Europe wide, the trainings are organized locally in your country and in your native language. This is an opportunity for you to not only maximise your existing skills but take them to a higher level. To get a Stand by Me – Certified Partner label, only one person at your company needs to undertake the short training and put their skills and knowledge to the test.
Every installer can join, even if you have no previous experience with Daikin heat pumps. After you followed the training and pass the test, you simply log on to our Daikin Stand by Me platform and that’s it. You will then be a certified installer.
