KEEP
1. Refrigerant branch pipes
Existing branch piping may be retained where compatibility requirements are met.
2. Remote control wiring
Existing control wiring may be retained depending on the installation and cable type.
3. Indoor-outdoor wiring
Connections may be retained depending on system compatibility.
4. Drainpipes
Durable PVC pipes can be easily reused. Only flow tests are required.
REPLACE
A. Outdoor unit
Outdoor units are replaced as part of the system upgrade.
B. Indoor unit
Optional replacement. Depending on unit type, compatibility and condition, indoor unitsmay be retained or replaced.
TO EVALUATE
X. Controller (BRC1H52 or more recent can be kept)
Existing controllers should be evaluated for compatibility. Newer controller generations may be retained depending on the application.
