Brussels, 22 July 2024 – Daikin is launching a new subscription package for its existing Daikin on Site (DoS) cloud-based remote monitoring and control service.
The new Daikin on Site CONNECT subscription is intended for use with air handling units and small inverter chillers, which have distinct requirements in terms of datapoint mapping and monitoring functions. Customers get more choice and flexibility, with the option to pay only for the data they use.

See the bigger picture
The cloud-based Daikin on Site service tool for remote monitoring and smart maintenance optimises the use and therefore also the costs over the system’s entire lifetime.
Delivering real-time information in an easy-to-view format, Daikin on Site provides maximum control and convenience. It gives users access to real-time and historical data, helping to keep systems running as intended. It also provides alerts to enable the quick resolution of any system issues, preventing unexpected downtime.
Flexibility to select the right level of service cover
Customers can now choose between different subscription options:
- Daikin on Site CONNECT for smaller air handling units and chillers
The new Dos CONNECT service monitors up to 100 data points, which is sufficient to cover the needs of smaller air handling units and chillers. The DoS cloud server collects operational data from the unit’s control system. That data is turned into useful information by Daikin’s Smartcentre, accessible on a web user interface for easy data viewing, with up to one year’s worth of historical data storage included. Core features include alerts sent via the alarm dashboards, plant access and management including scheduling, task initiation and message logging.
- Daikin on Site PARTNER for medium to large chillers
Designed for medium to large chillers (ICM), the DoS PARTNER service offers similar core features as the CONNECT subscription, but covers up to a total of 200 data points. DoS PARTNER service also allows connection to third party equipment for monitoring, for example IOT devices such as IEQ sensors.
- Daikin on Site PREMIUM for the most comprehensive monitoring and measurement requirements
Designed for customers with more comprehensive monitoring and measurement requirements, Daikin on Site’s original PREMIUM service allows up to 500 datapoints to be monitored and analysed. DoS PREMIUM includes all the core features from the standard service subscriptions, and additionally it provides access to a host of advanced features: remote leak detection, enhanced energy metering with comprehensive reports and access to 10 years of historical data.
Partnering with Daikin experts ensures optimal performance and control of energy consumption. The remote monitoring enables predictive maintenance and quick resolution of maintenance issues while cutting the need for site visits.
All-round cost-effective care for peace of mind
Daikin on Site provides peace of mind for plant and energy managers, ensuring control of operational and maintenance budgets and maximising uptime to reduce unscheduled interruptions.
A monthly subscription service allows customers to pay per connection, with unlimited users per connection. Different access levels offer dedicated channels for operators, service providers and Daikin specialists.
All new Daikin Chiller and AHU Units are supplied ‘DoS connection ready’. Subscribing and connecting to the service is fast and easy, with no further hardware investment required and guaranteed internet and data privacy.
