Public Beta for Google (Android)
Complete the following steps to enter the Beta program on an Android phone:
You can access and subscribe to the public beta through Google Play store. Be patient as this process after clicking the link can take up to 5 minutes. After being granted access as a beta tester you can download the application manually from the app store.
- Feedback can always be reported through the following link https://daikin.formstack.com/forms/daikin_residential_controller_bug_reporting_page or on the Google play store.
- The message “Beta program is full” can be displayed if the maximum number of Beta users is reached.
- All units already added to the Residential Controller app will also be visible in the Beta app, nothing is lost.
- Login credentials for the Beta app are identical to the credentials used for the production Daikin Residential Controller app.
- As a Beta users you will also remain Beta users for future releases. They will get earlier access to new features.
- As a Beta user you can at any moment leave the Beta program.
Public beta for Apple (iOS)
Complete the following steps to enter the Beta program on an iPhone:
- You can enter the beta program through https://testflight.apple.com/join/AQUnDNBV
- This link provides all info to download the “TestFlight” app (Step 1) and join the Beta program (Step 2).
IMPORTANT: Downloading the beta app will normally overwrite the production app. However, if you would still end up in a situation where both apps (production & Beta) are installed, please delete the production app. Running both apps on one phone will lead to login and usage issues.
- The Beta app is marked with a dot on the left of the icon name.
- Feedback can always be reported through the following link https://daikin.formstack.com/forms/daikin_residential_controller_bug_reporting_page or on Testfight.
- The message “Beta program is full” is displayed if the maximum number of Beta users is reached.
- All units already added to the Residential Controller app will also be visible in the Beta app, nothing is lost.
- Login credentials for the Beta app are identical to the credentials used for the production Daikin Residential Controller app.
- The Beta program automatically closes after 90 days. After the closure you must switch back to the production app. You will not lose any of your data or installed units.
