Why am I seeing frequent U8-11 alerts on my Daikin Altherma 4 system, and how can I fix them?

If your Daikin Altherma 4 is running on a software version older than v3.0.0, you may notice frequent U8-11 alerts. These indicate a temporary loss of connection with the wireless gateway.

The good news is that the connection is automatically restored, and this has no impact on the performance of your system. The alerts can, however, appear quite often and become a little annoying over time.

As a temporary fix, you can hide them by disabling the wireless gateway in the system menu:
Menu > Connectivity (8) > Wireless Gateway (3) > Wireless Gateway (1) > OFF.

A permanent solution will follow automatically once your system is updated to software version v3.0.0 or later.
