Thank you everyone for your registrations and enthusiasm
for participating in the 2022 Factory Olympics!.
Below you will find an overview of the 10 finalists per skill who will
compete for a place on our podium on Saturday October 1, 2022.
We are already looking forward to the final and are curious
who will go home with a medal and a nice prize...

* These lists do not include people who were in the top 10 for several skills and a had to make a choice, gave up their place or not be able to participate on October 1 and are subject to change according to finalist availability. Thank you to everyone who registered for the Factory Olympics!
Last week we closed the submissions, below you can see the results:
The preselections have already started.
Keep an eye on the website, because there we communicate
the schedules and we will announce who will go to the final!
We'll announce all finalists before the summer break...
Per skill 10 candidates will compete in the final
for a gold medal on Saturday, October 1, 2022.

5 reasons why you should participatein the Factory Olympics!
You can register for the Factory Olympics until April 29, 5 pm.
Still not convinced to participate? We give you 5 reasons to join!
1. It's the chance to show what you can do!
Do you diligently perform one or more of the 12 skills every day? Then show us how! Because who knows, you might make it to the finals and call yourself the Daikin-champion!
2. You can try out a skill that you don't do every day!
You do not need a qualification for 6 of the 12 skills. Everyone can participate in 6S waste sorting, TPM daily check, picking, assembly, upwiring and u-bend & lacing!
3. The preselections are during working hours!
No, you don't have to come after work to do your preselection test for a chosen skill.
This simply happens during your working hours!
4. Are you going to the final? Then a fun day awaits you!
Last year the final happened during covid times, but with the relaxations it looks like
that we will have a carefree final day this year. Enjoy a snack and drink, catch up with
your colleagues and compete for a medal!
5. There are prizes to be won during the final!
The five best candidates per skill will take home a prize and the three best will receive
a medal! Are you going for gold?

It's time! The Factory Olympics are back!
Last year we organized the first edition of the Factory Olympics.
The 2021 edition was a huge success and that left us wanting more!
That’s why we are organizing a second edition this year, where you can once again show what you excel in.
But what exactly are the Factory Olympics?
It actually speaks for itself a bit, these are the Olympic Games at our factory here in Ostend.
Both blue collars and white collars can test their skills by taking part in various tests.
There are pre-selections for each skill and participants are assessed by a jury: the ten best candidates
will participate in the final on Saturday October 1, 2022. 10 finalists x 12 skills = that’s 120 finalists!
Which skills can I participate in?
You can participate in no fewer than 12 skills! Which one do you dare?
Please note: you need a qualification for forklift, finisher, coil brazing, leak test, piping brazing and towtruck, of course. 😉
