The preselections have started since the beginning of last week. The skills leaktest & upwiring have taken the lead in this. With blood, sweat and tears, everyone did their utmost to secure a final place. Communication about the finalists and the reserves will follow shortly. Below some atmospheric images.

The preselections for Assembly & Forklift will continue this week and coil brazing, picking and towtruck are planned for next week.

We wish everyone a lot of success and above all a lot of fun!

Meet the promo & administrative team of the factory olympics!

Curious about the faces behind the enthusiastic promo & administrative team of the factory olympics? On the photo: Dirk De Baets, Patricia Machtelinckx, Michel Eenman, Lies Vanneste, Maureen Dildick, Romina Parmentier and Lien Fasseur.

Laura Simpelaere, Vicky Keters and Angelique Ruiter and Hans Lingier are also in this team.

What are we doing? Just like all other organizing teams ensure that the first edition of the factory olympics is an unforgettable successful edition. For example we designed the logo, created the flyers & posters, designed a website, processed the registrations and so much more.

We wish all participants a lot of success during the preselections!

Update 04/03/2021 

Last Monday we closed the registrations for the first DENV Daikin Factory Olympics. The promotion team worked hard to gather as many registrations as possible in all kinds of ways. A true promotional campaign was started with flyers, posters, displays, ... Videos were even made in collaboration with the skill groups. A number of employees could call themselves an actor / actress for a day! :-)

The campaign was effective! We are proud to say that 388 registrations were clocked from all kinds of departments. The participants are undoubtedly eager to show their skills with great pride! 

More information about the date & time of the preselections will be soon communicated on the website.

Already 242 employees have registered for one or more skills! Spare parts (workers) is still the leader followed by the H1 flow. It's a neck-and-neck race between the R1 and R2 flow for the 3th place.

Did you know that you can win a prizes in the finals?  

Employees who have been selected during the preselections to participate in the final and actually participate in the final on Saturday April 24, 2021 will all receive a Daikin goodie bag with some nice gadgets.

In addition, the 3 best candidates selected by the jury in accordance with the predetermined criteria will be awarded a medal for each skill. The best 5 candidates will also receive a prize.

Curious what this is about? Today we will give you a little glimpse.
Just like Daikin China we are also organizing the Factory Olympics in 2021 and you are all challenged to participate!
In total you will be able to participate in 7 skills:

  • Assembly
  • Coilbrazing
  • Upwiring
  • Forklift
  • Leaktest
  • Picking
  • Towtruck

Preselections will be organized and the best candidates will go to the finals.
Through these Olympics everyone is encouraged to show us their talent and this with pride and enthusiasm.
