Consulting Sales Manager DX / VRV

Riyadh - Saudi Arabia

Job Responsibilities


  • Managing the operation of Business Development/Consulting sales for DX/VRV 

  • Responsible for the day to day management of the Consulting Sales section for DX/VRV products

  • Develop Consulting Sales across region by leveraging leads from existing Applied consulting sales team 

  • Develop strong relationships with key Consulting Firm’s senior Management and uphold the image and reputation of Daikin as the supplier of choice for DX/VRV Products

  • Build a consultants map and account segmentation with account plan for annual coverage initially for UAE and then expand to other regions 

  • Contribute to increase market share by enhancing inquiry base (consultants), by increasing spec-in numbers and define spec-in plan

  • Responsible for the promotion of HVAC products towards customers by creating promotion tools (seminars, printed/e-data material…) with support of HQ Business development and marketing department 

  • Provide high level product and application support (design support etc.) to the potential customers and provide seminars towards the consultants and decision makers in the commercial and industrial market segments

  • Work closely with the DX/VRV Business Team  

  • Provide Design Solutions to consultants and key accounts and drive the specifications towards Daikin product 

  • Work closely with Project Sales team to ensure order conclusion for major applied products. 


  • Contribute to the leadership and business strategy 

  • Further develop and establish the Daikin brand and strategically plan your approach to further develop Consultants network and win market share

  • Consult with line manager and DX/VRV SBU Business Team on defining strategy and implementation of strategy for Consulting Sales 

  • Analysis of the business performance data to drive better performance for DX/VRV business

  • Competitor and client research 


  • To build, lead, manage, train and motivate a team of consulting sales engineers in order to sustain strong relationships & contacts with consultants and contractors in order to generate business for Daikin. 

  • Creating annual business plan for consulting sales in order to achieve Daikin’s mission

  • Implement Daikin core values and Ethics 


  • Ensure tracking of all consulting sales activities in CRM and have a seamless transfer of project from design stage to inquiry stage to project sales for DX/VRV project.

  • Ensure accuracy of logged data for CS activity in CRM and prepare reports for the management

Job Requirements:


  • Minimum of 10 - 15 years with at least 5 years at a similar managerial role with experience in HVAC sector 

  • Extensive technical knowledge in DX and VRV is essential.

  • Strong Commercial aptitude

  • Strong understanding and work exposure in engineering and construction industry 

  • Experience of working in international and multicultural environment

  • Ability to work in a team across departments / locations

  • Strong understanding of construction business contacts within MEA region (consultants/end users)

  • Previous work experience in the region is a plus



  • University degree in engineering. 


Language/Computer skills:

  • Excellent communication (presentation, negotiation and influencing) skills, both spoken, written English 

  • Familiar with standard Microsoft tools such as Excel, Powerpoint and Word
