Job description

  • The finance department is the driving force in translating the sales and marketing strategy of the company into a proper yearly budget.   This yearly budget consists and includes: Quantities, Sales Values, Price setting, Yearly sales actions, launch of new equipment and phase out of old ones.
  • Critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding Identify opportunities for improvement within processes by developing business analyses, quantifying benefits and costs as appropriate and prioritising for review thereby identifying opportunities for improvement within processes by developing business analyses, quantifying benefits and costs as appropriate and prioritising for review.
  • Work with teams to develop opportunities for change in processes and to challenge the status quo by performing reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports.
  • The business analyst will report to the Financial Controller, whilst working also closely with the Commercial Director to provide analytical information to produce monthly business unit performance, sales budgets, forecasts and supporting commentary.

Duties include:

  • Support Financial Controller in the J-SOX compliance controls implementation
  • Develop and review strategic and tactical budget / revised budget and final forecasts
  • Developing and reviewing strategic, tactical and operational sales forecasts on a monthly basis
  • Managing forecasting processes to deliver most accurate results
  • Tracking, initiating and leading continuous improvement in KPI’s and provide feedback to the Financial Controller, the Commercial Director and the Managing Director
  • Cooperate with related departments in budget process
  • Present information to management
  • Report for European Management Meeting
  • Monitor and report to Regional HQ the monthly sales results
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Holiday cover for credit control and purchase ledger

Your profile

  • 3 years of experience in similar position preferably in a multinational company in the HVAC-R sector
  • University degree in finance, business or other relevant field
  • MFG/Pro experience (preferred by not essential as will be changing computer system)
  • SAP user (experienced)
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Knowledge of Commercial Refrigeration Market will be considered an asset
