The Business Unit of residential air-conditioning products is in charge of the EMEA sales results on the long and short term.  Therefore an excellent monitoring of the market of residential air-conditioning market and guidance of the affiliates is necessary for the different regions (Europe, upcoming markets and the Middle East). This is the responsibility of the EU Marketing department, based in Brussels. 

Job Content

As a Business Development Manager within the EU Marketing department, you are responsible for a wide variety of activities. These activities consist out of 3 main parts: 

  • Related to Budget targets and Cycles: you are responsible for the creation of the Fusion 20 plan. The Fusion 20 plan sets the long term targets of the individual Business Unit. The execution of the annual budget year, in line with the long term Fusion 20 plan is also under your responsibility. You are responsible for the monthly and periodical follow up.
  • Related to Route Development: you are responsible to manage the further expansion and the strengthening of the sales routes. You create a vision and strategy for the EU, surpassing the traditional development of dealers as such, considering the customer journey from a BTB and BTC point of view with the integration of digital tooling. Insight of the current situation in the EU market and the competitors movement need to be gathered. You need to agree on action points and targets with the affiliates and do the follow up.
  • Related to Promotional activities: you are responsible to follow up the creation of marketing/promotional tools for the affiliates to launch newly developed products and to support the sales of the affiliates. You need to supervise the maintenance activities done by marketing and follow up progression of the data flow in the monthly Product Launch Review Meeting. 

Profile

  • You have a master degree, with an economical orientation, affinity with sales and data.
  • You can rely on experience in a similar HQ function or you have a mature profile.
  • You have strong analytic skills, technical and sales related.
  • You have people management experience
  • You have a fluent and easy communication style. Good knowledge of English is a must.
  • You are able to create and execute a vision and strategy 
  • You like a diversity of tasks and know how to set priorities.
  • You have a wish to report and contact management of the own organisation and of the affiliate network.
  • An international context attracts you and you are willing to travel up to 25% of your time in order to get to know the market.
