What does the HRM Social Administration and Legal Affairs Department do?
This department has two divisions. Social administration is mainly responsible for payroll, social security declarations and support for the foreign payroll offices of branches, offices and affiliates. Social Legal Affairs monitors social legislation, draws up contracts of employment, work regulations and employee insurance agreements. It is also responsible for expats and inpats of Daikin Europe N.V. Furthermore, the department assists foreign branches, offices and affiliates in the aforementioned HR areas, as and when necessary.
“I belong to the Social Legal Affairs section in the HRM Department of the headquarters and am responsible in particular for employees on secondment, for employee insurance and I am the liasion with our inhouse payroll office SD Worx.
As Daikin grows, the number of employees on secondment also grows. Employees of Daikin Europe N.V. are dispatched on secondment in accordance with the company’s own policy, not only within Europe, but also to South Africa, Russia and Dubai.
