What does the HRM Planning/International Affairs Department do?
The HRM Planning / International Affairs Department offers support for the development of HRM procedures and instruments at the national and the international level. This department is the link between the company’s HR strategy and the needs that arise from daily operations.
“As an HRM Executive in this department, I come into contact with various fields of HRM, mainly through working on different HR themes on a project-by-project basis. These projects can range from setting up new systems and procedures to thinking up and implementing improvements to existing tools in line with our HR strategy.
Currently, I am mainly working in the area of job classification and evaluation. But I have also worked in the domain of remuneration. The advantage of working in these different domains is that the connections between the different HR fields become very clear. You are also working on an international level, cooperating with other HR colleagues among the EMEA region. So there is no lack of variation!”
